When people ask me what kind of game is DayZ, I tell them that DayZ isn’t really a game — its a place that you go to. All of our worlds are designed to be living, breathing, story driven places. Our Chernarus map has 14 custom built locations that all have their small story fused into it. I’ve done some work to Deer Isle as well although not as much. I want these environments to feel real, not just random assets thrown loosely about.
